This is a special prerelease event open to Kids and Parents!
Each ticketed player will receive a Prerelease kit and have 50 minutes to build their deck. A parent and kid can play together, or separately with individual tickets.
Players will then pair up casually with other players and try out their decks!

Prerelease is your first opportunity to get your hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer. Your Prerelease Pack will contain everything you need to build your first Edge of Eternities deck and face off in epic one-on-one matches.

Event Highlights:
Upon entry, each participant will receive a Prerelease Kit. These kits include 6 packs and an exclusive Prerelease Promo Card, allowing you to get a sneak peek at the new set before it's officially released. And you keep all the cards!
Sealed Deck Tournament:
Test your deck-building skills by constructing a 40-card deck from the contents of your Prerelease Kit. You'll use this deck to compete in a friendly yet competitive Sealed Deck tournament.
After the deckbuilding period, players will pair up with other players and play matches for the duration of the event time.
Prizes and Promotions:
- 1 prerelease kit per player
- 1 participation play booster per player
- For each registered player, 2 Play Booster Packs will be added to the prize pool. At the end of the event, all prize packs will be given away randomly—so everyone has a chance to win, regardless of match results!
Friendly and Inclusive:
Our Prerelease events are welcoming to all skill levels, whether you're a seasoned Planeswalker or a newer player.
However, this event is not a learn-to-play event. We recommend parents complete the free Magic tutorial on Magic Arena to learn the basics and be ready to play here!
Our community is known for its friendly atmosphere and sportsmanship, so you're guaranteed to have a fantastic time.
In order to ensure a quality event for our players, this event is exclusive to participants only; spectators and guests are not permitted.
Are you ready for your first adventure at Gamelandia?
There are a few things you need to prepare beforehand:
- A Wizards account (Companion app not necessary if you have the email address memorized. Play Arena? Great! Just use the email you signed up with!)
- The means for entry (Buy your ticket in advance, we have limited space and it guarantees your seat. Can't make it? You can get a refund in store credit.)
- If after purchasing a ticket you can no longer make the event, please cancel your ticket so that someone on the waitlist can claim that ticket. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the event begins. If you are late to the event you risk forfeiting your spot.
- Cancelled / no-show tickets will be refunded in store credit only via digital gift card minus processing fees, and forfeit all promos and prizes.
- That's about it! Be sure that you know our code of conduct before the event, we want everyone safe, happy and comfortable!

Prerelease Pack Detailed Contents:
- 6 Play Boosters; each Play Booster contains 14 Magic cards
- 1 foil, year-stamped Rare or Mythic Rare
- 1 deck box
- 1 Spindown die
- Play Boosters may contain these cards: EOE 1–316; EOS 1–45; SPG 119–128. Each Play Booster includes 1–4 cards of rarity Rare or higher (2: 30%; 3: 3%; 4: <1%), and 3–5 Uncommon, 6–9 Common, and 1 Land cards. 1 card of any rarity is Traditional Foil. Foil Borderless Mythic in <1% of boosters. Traditional Foil Land replaces a Land in 20% of boosters.
