Prerelease is your first opportunity to get your hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer. Prerelease Packs contain everything you need to build your pre-release deck and begin facing off in epic one-on-one matches.

Event Details — Sealed Deck Tournament (Casual):
Upon entry, each participant will receive a Prerelease Kit. These kits include 6 packs and an exclusive Prerelease Promo Card, allowing you to get a sneak peek at the new set before it's officially released. And you keep all the cards!
Test your deck-building skills by constructing a 40-card deck from the contents of your Prerelease Kit. You'll use this deck to compete in a friendly yet competitive Sealed Deck tournament.
You’ll play 3 best-of-three matches with a 50 minute match timer. The “Swiss” tournament structure means you’ll be paired against players with the same number of wins so far each round.

- 1x Participation Pack per player
- 1x Win Pack per Round Win
- Trade x3 Win Packs for a Collector Booster! (participation packs not eligible)
Prerelease Pack Detailed Contents:
- 6 Play Boosters; each Play Booster contains 14 Magic cards
- 1 foil promo Rare or Mythic Rare
- 1 deck box
- 1 Spindown die
Before you play…
There are a few things you need to prepare beforehand:
- Our community is super friendly to newer players, but this is not a learn-to-play event. Please complete the excellent, free tutorial on Magic Arena to learn the basics so you can hit the ground running!
- The Wizards Companion App (or the email address of your Wizards account). Play Arena? Great! Just use the email you signed up with!
- Your event ticket. We recommend buying in advance; we have limited space and pre-registering guarantees your seat. Can't make it? You can get a refund in store credit.
Cancellations/No-Shows
- Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before the event begins. If you are late you risk forfeiting your spot to waitlisted participants.
- If after purchasing a ticket you can no longer make the event, please cancel your ticket so that we can bring someone in off the waitlist!
- Cancelled / no-show tickets will be refunded in store credit only via digital gift card minus processing fees, and forfeit all promos and prizes.
Store Information
- KN95 masks are optional and provided at no charge upon request.
- Gamelandia has plenty of free **parking!**
