Tween Magic: The Gathering Camp
For Ages 10–15 | No Experience Needed
Looking for a fun and engaging summer camp that helps kids build critical thinking and social skills?
Welcome to Magic: The Gathering Camp—a weeklong introduction to the world’s most popular trading card game.
Magic: The Gathering is a game where players use collectible cards to cast spells, summon creatures, and outthink their opponents. It’s imaginative, challenging, and a great way for kids to develop logic, creativity, and sportsmanship—all while having fun with their peers.
This camp is designed for kids and teens ages 10–15, especially those who are curious or brand new to the game. Over the course of the week, campers will:
-
Learn how to play three of the most popular Magic formats (Standard, Draft, Commander)
-
Practice strategy and problem-solving through guided gameplay
-
Build confidence and friendships in a welcoming, screen-free environment
-
Take home cards so they can begin playing at home, including a Welcome Deck
-
Receive free promo packs, card storage supplies with stickers to decorate, and cards like Trinket Mage!

-
Be ready to play in a Magic The Gathering event at Gamelandia!
Schedule:
-
Monday: Learn game fundamentals, basic strategy, sportsmanship, and how to play the Standard format
-
Tuesday: Deck building workshop + 3-round Standard tournament using store decks in our Artisan Format (commons and uncommons only)
-
Wednesday: Draft strategy and a full Magic: The Gathering Draft event (players keep their draft decks!)
-
Thursday: Introduction to Commander, a popular multiplayer format. Use store decks or bring your own!

We maintain a supportive and respectful environment where every child can thrive. If you’re looking for an activity that blends creativity, challenge, and connection, this camp is a great place to start.
Players will be required to wear a nametag and abide by the Gamelandia Code of Conduct for the duration of the camp. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of registration without a refund and require early parental pickup.
