A First Look at Organized Play For Altered TCG

Hey, Gamelandia community! We’ve got some exciting news for all the trading card game (TCG) enthusiasts out there. We’re thrilled to announce that Altered TCG is bringing a whole slew of options to Organized Play, and we’re here for it!

Seasonal Play: Keep Things Fresh at Gamelandia

With Altered TCG, every few months brings a new season, just like your favorite TV series. Each season introduces fresh challenges, unique cards, and exciting new mechanics. This constant evolution keeps the game vibrant and engaging, perfect for players looking to mix things up regularly. 

Here at Gamelandia, we’re all about keeping things dynamic, and Seasonal Play does just that!

Seasons will go from the release day of the most recent set, all the way up to the day before the following set.

This will give players a solid amount of time to feel out a format and play with their favorite strategies from the release, while also keeping the game fresh over time.

Adventure Pass: Get Rewards for Playing at Gamelandia

The Adventure Pass is a fantastic way to blend online and in-person play. By participating in events at Gamelandia, you can unlock both digital rewards and physical goodies. 

This means you’re not just playing for fun—you’re playing to collect exclusive prizes, meet new friends, and build a stronger community right here in our store.

The Adventure Pass is like a ladder you can climb each season. You choose a faction to represent at the beginning of the season, and with each event you play in store you earn more rewards.

We don't know yet what those rewards will look like, but I'm sure we'll find out more info once Beyond The Gates officially launches on Sept 13th!

Expeditions: Tailored Just for You

Expeditions are weekly events that we customize to fit our Gamelandia community. Whether you’re a newbie looking for some casual play or a seasoned player ready for a more competitive match, we’ve got something for you. These flexible, fun events mean everyone can find their place in the action.

Like Friday Night Magic, Expeditions are the weekly events for the Altered TCG that will make up the core of our Organized Play program.

We'll probably start off with Standard events to begin with, but we want feedback from you too! Let us know what kinds of Expeditions you want to see!

Promo Boosters: Exclusive Cards You Can’t Miss

Who doesn’t love rare and unique cards? With Promo Boosters, you’ll have the chance to snag some exclusive, limited-edition cards that are only available through Organized Play. This is your chance to collect something special and show off your unique deck at Gamelandia!

Promo Boosters are composed of three cards each, including exclusive promo cards, alternate art cards, extra foilers, and improved chances at Uniques!

Tumult Championship: Test Your Skills!

For our competitive players, the Tumult Championship is the ultimate arena to show off your skills. This high-stakes tournament lets you compete against the best and see if you have what it takes to be crowned champion. It’s the perfect opportunity to push your strategies to the limit and claim some serious bragging rights.
